Membership
Veer North aspires to be open and responsive to its members' needs. Full membership is open to any practising visual artist in Shetland, or with links to Shetland, who is committed to the pursuit of their work and has a commitment to their professional development; supports the aims of the group and fits some or all of the criteria for full membership. These criteria include professional standing and respect from peers; art training; exhibition history; publications, such as reviews of work, articles, catalogues and books; awards, scholarships, grants; commissions; work represented in public collections; related professional experience, such as teaching, residencies, consultancy. Associate membership is open to anyone who wishes to develop his or her interest in the visual arts.
